Megan Huber

Director of Finance Megan Huber

Megan Huber is the California Cattlemen’s Association's Director of Finance. Coming to CCA in September 2007, she is an integral part of the association. Megan oversees all aspects of CCA’s finances, accounting and membership recordkeeping, including tracking all association revenue and expenses, as well as preparing for the annual audit and coordinating financial reporting with local associations.

In addition to her many duties in the office, Megan is also the staff liaison for the Livestock Memorial Research Fund, the Young Cattlemen’s Committee, Finance Committee and Non-Dues Revenue Committee.

Originally from Susanville, Megan, who now lives in Sacramento, graduated with bachelor’s degrees from California State University, Chico, in agribusiness, business administration and animal science.

“Although I am not directly involved in any of the regulatory or legislative issues our association is involved in, my position is still very important to the association as a whole,” Megan explained. “I prepare many financial and memberships reports as well as oversee all aspects of CCA’s finances and membership.”

“I work with a great group of individuals and work for an even greater group of people who produce food for our nation, protect our natural resources and maintain the ranching way of life,” Megan said. “But the best part is that I get to work for a cause that I am truly passionate about.”
