Second Vice President Marty Williamson
Marty Williamson, who works as manager of J.G. Boswell Company’s Boston Ranch and Yokohl Valley Cattle Co., Exeter, was elected as second vice president at the CCA/CCW annual convention in Sparks, Nev. Williamson, a cow-calf producer, has spent more than two decades as a proactive producer in Tulare County.
“I am looking forward to representing ranchers in California,” Williamson said. “I think I have a lot of ideas that can benefit producers throughout the state and I am looking forward to what the next two years may hold.”
CCA President Tom Talbot, DVM, Bishop, said he is very optimistic about what the new officer team will accomplish for CCA.
“Marty (Williamson) is a traditional cowboy, whose knowledge and leadership make him a perfect fit for the issues that we will be tackling in the upcoming years,” Talbot said. “He is always willing to pitch in and help with anything he is needed for and I look forward to his ideas and the new perspective he will bring to our organization.”
Williamson is a past president of Tulare County Cattlemen’s Association, member of the CCA Board of Directors and a has served as chair of CCA’s Livestock ID and Transportation Committee. Williamson is a business graduate of Blue Mountain Community College, Pendleton, Ore. He resides in Exeter with his wife, Cindy, and daughters Kelly and Jody.
