David is also the chief operating officer and Beef Division chairman for Harris Farms, Inc., the largest cattle feeder on the West Coast. Harris Ranch Beef Company is

An animal science graduate from California Polytechnic Univeristy in San Luis Obispo, David owns a cow/calf operation, and runs approximately 20,000 yearlings annually in four western states. He also produces almonds, pistachios, wheat, alfalfa, cotton, garlic and vegetables. He also works with local
FFA, 4-H and youth athletic programs.

David served as chairman of the Cattlemens Beef Board in 1995, the California Cattle Feeder's Association in 1997 and 1998, the
California Beef Council in 1990
and the Western States Meat Association from 1992-1994. He has also served on the U.S. Meat Export Federation Executive Committee.
