Administrative Assistant Bonnie Cotton
Bonnie Cotton, administrative assistant for CCA, said she came to the association because it was different than anything else she had ever done. After 35 years as a legal assistant in the East Bay and Sacramento, Bonnie said the change was a good one. She has been at the CCA office since May of 2007.
Born in PotsDam, New York, Bonnie has lived in California most of her life, but she said, she was never well-acquainted with rural surroundings, like cattle ranching. Bonnie said she finds the cattle industry fascinating and aside from her phone, mail and data entry duties, she said she loves talking with the members.
“I have never met a better or more friendly group of people,” Bonnie said.
Bonnie assists CCA officers, members and staff with a variety of special projects. Also serving as the CCA receptionist, Bonnie's voice will likely be the first voice you will hear when calling the CCA office.
“I think it is important in this job to be kind and courteous with every person I speak to,” Bonnie said. “I love the members and if I don’t know an answer to their question, I assure them I will find the right person to help them. They will never be ignored.”
